To celebrate its 50th year the NZ Association of Women in Aviation will be holding an extra-special Rally at Tauranga Airport.

NZAWA Annual Rally

NZAWA holds it's Annual Rally at Queen's Birthday weekend alternating between North and South Island locations each year. Members and supporters fly in for a memorable weekend of competition, education, camaraderie and the necessary AGM.

There are competitions for pilots of fixed-wing, glider, rotary wing and microlight aircraft as well as for parachutists. They involve women of all levels of experience from beginners through to professionals, based on the licence held.

Tauranga 2010 Anniversary Rally

Tauranga in the beautiful Bay of Plenty is a wonderful venue for this special occasion, being one of the country’s top holiday destinations for Kiwis and visitors, offers a great mix of scenic attractions, culture, outdoor pursuits and dining experiences. Opportunities abound for pre and post-Rally tours and sight-seeing.
This will certainly be a Rally to remember. We expect Australian women pilots to attend and compete in the Trans Tasman competition plus other overseas guests. Invitations have been sent to many local and international aviation bodies. We look forward to seeing you there!
